Financial Reporting Courses Starting Soon

We're running two intensive programmes this year—one kicks off in September, the other in November. Both are designed for investors who want to read financial statements without second-guessing every number.

Spots are limited. Registration opens in July 2025.

What's Coming Up

Two courses, different schedules, same focus—getting you comfortable with the reports that matter when you're putting money into a business.

Financial Statements for Investors

Starts 15 September 2025 • 8 weeks • Monday evenings

This one's about balance sheets, cash flow statements, and income reports. We'll walk through actual company filings so you can spot what's worth your attention and what's just noise.

  • Reading annual reports without getting lost in footnotes
  • Spotting red flags in revenue recognition and expense timing
  • Understanding how debt levels affect shareholder returns
  • Comparing companies within the same industry

Advanced Financial Analysis

Starts 3 November 2025 • 6 weeks • Wednesday evenings

This builds on the basics. We dig into ratio analysis, segment reporting, and how to assess management quality based on what they disclose—and what they don't.

  • Calculating and interpreting key financial ratios
  • Evaluating management commentary and guidance
  • Understanding segment performance in diversified companies
  • Identifying earnings quality and accounting choices

Who's Teaching

Both courses are led by instructors who've spent years reading reports for a living. They know what trips people up and how to explain it without the jargon.
